Welcome to Jory Behavioral Health – Salem

A Safe and Hopeful Path Forward

Jory Behavioral Health in Salem, Oregon is a secure residential treatment facility (SRTF) designed to serve adults living with serious mental illness who require intensive psychiatric care in a structured, home-like environment. Our purpose-built, 16-bed facility offers round-the-clock support in a trauma-informed setting where safety, respect, and recovery are at the heart of everything we do.

We specialize in caring for individuals under one of the following legal designations:

  • Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB): Individuals found "Guilty Except for Insanity" (GEI) and placed under the jurisdiction of the PSRB for treatment in lieu of incarceration.
  • Civil Commitment: Individuals ordered by the court to receive mental health treatment in a secure setting due to risk of harm to self or others or inability to care for basic needs.
